Horse Camp Grades 5-9 Judson Collins
You won’t be just horsing around at this camp! You will spend the mornings with the horses at the riding stable learning how to groom, saddle, and ride. You will start with the basics (transitions and stopping), and progress on to levels of safety, obstacle courses, games, and trotting. You will have a chance to visit with the veterinarian and learn how to keep a horse healthy. Your minds will be tested as you learn the various parts of horse anatomy. More experienced riders will review their skills and get a chance to work on improving their existing skills. Riding will be held off site. Cost $434.
