Camp New Day

MJ 1366

Camp New Day, for children of incarcerated parents, offers children a positive experience of love and hope in a Christian setting.  Children from throughout the conference have been able to attend as a result of the generosity of those supporting this MJ ministry.  Donations have been used to provide full scholarships for all campers.  In addition, each camper is given a Bible, a Camp New Day T-shirt, a group photo, and a quilt/blanket made by the UMW.

Originally for children age nine through twelve, now a session for youth through age 15 is also offered.  The camp is co-sponsored with the West Michigan Conference and is held at Camp Albright, near Reed City.

This program is funded 100% through Ministry Jubilee.

Thank you very much for providing some special campers the opportunity to experience life in community as God’s beloved children, enjoying God’s world.
