Take it from the kids who went to camp last year!
On our end-of-camp surveys 95% or more of our campers reported:

They liked the small group activities.
Camp is a place to try out things you may not normally get to do at home. Swimming, boating, hiking, cooking out, campfires, horses, archery, and field trips are just a few of the activities we offer. Activities will be offered on an age-appropriate level and not all activities are available at all events so please read your event description closely!

They grew in their relationship with God as a result of their time at camp.
They learned ways to serve God and others.
They felt close to God and others at camp.
Camp is a great way to come closer to God! Many people find the out-of-doors and easier way to connect with creation and the Creator. The Christian Camp and Conference Association reports that:
70% of Christians make faith commitments before the age of 19, and half of those decisions are made at camp.
And the Search Institute reports that
Approximately 20% of United Methodist adults and 37% of United Methodist children and youth who attended camp and retreat experiences list them as one of the five most important influences on their faith.

They liked the Bible study materials.
The all-camp worship and programs were good or very good.
Bible study and worship times are just two of the ways we talk about God at camp. This year our theme will be Be A Hero: Living Like Jesus.
