Lakeshore Interlude Ages 55 & up, Lake Huron Retreat Center
A Summer Event for Adults
Lakeshore Interlude is a retreat experience designed for men and women ages 55 and older. Step away from the busyness of everyday life and come to the lakeshore for fellowship, rest and worship. Guests enjoy Bible study, music, crafts and worship. A highlight of the retreat is the annual Talent Show. There is a nurse on site, nutritious meals and snacks are served and there are plenty of opportunities for relaxation and conversation. Guests stay in Littleton and Ragland Lodges. Co-Deans: Rev. Adult Choir Retreat Ages 18 & Older, Lake Huron Retreat Center
Join us for a weekend of music education and worship. Reverends David and Terry Gladstone facilitate an opportunity for all adults who love music. Arrive Friday evening and jump right into rehearsals and fellowship! Rehearsals, Bible Study and fellowship continue through Saturday. The weekend concludes with a special benefit concert at Port Huron First UMC that supports the growing ministry of Lake Huron Retreat Center. Guests stay in Littleton Lodge. Young Adults Kayak Ages 18-30ish, Camp Kinawind
This is a great opportunity to get away before returning to school or work. Weather permitting we will paddle in the Grand Island/Pictured Rocks areas of Lake Superior. Beginners are welcome and training will be conducted. Come and listen for the "still small voice" in the majesty of His creation while kayaking with fellow Christians. Adult Canoeing Ages 18 & Up, Camp Kinawind
Come spend a day floating through the pristine natural environment of the Mason Tract wilderness area as we canoe down the South Branch of the AuSable River. During much of the trip we not see any signs of civilization just the beauty of God’s creation. As part of the journey we will pause for a time of meditation at the beautiful riverside Mason Chapel. We will spend Saturday night at the Canoe Harbor State Forest Campground. Sunday morning we will gather along the river for worship and reflection. July 10@8pm-July 12@1pm. Dean W. Thomas & D. Wentz. Adult Retreat Ages 18 & Up, Camp Kinawind
Join other adult Christians for a unique experience of community building, worship, and time for personal reflection while participating in a small group program. Kinawind is a rustic site. You will be out of doors much of the time and have options that include canoeing, kayaking, hiking, low ropes initiatives, cooking out and much more. Family Mackinac Bridgewalk, Camp Kinawind
Families and adults are welcome to this weekend of fun, prayer, adventure, worship, fellowship and walking the Mackinac Bridge. Come make new friends, relax, grow in Christian relationships, and experience the Kinawind community tradition. This event concludes with a round-trip bus ride to the Mackinaw Bridgewalk on Monday.
